Ukrainian Power Duo Sign With Jets

The Chilliwack Jets announced today the Ukrainian signings of players Mark Myronov (Left) and Danyil Denysenko (Right).

Mark Myronov is from Donetsk, Ukraine and was forced to flee and leave the country back in 2021 with concerns about the ongoing war. Mark played for the Calgary NorthStars U18 AAA in the AEHL last season. Mark is a 6-foot, 1-inch 190-pound strong skating and skilled play-making forward. Last season Myronov had 10 goals and 10 assists thru 38 games played and tallied 54 PIM’s. Mark is currently playing for the Ukrainian U18 National Hockey Team at the U18 World Juniors.

Danyil Denysenko is also from Donetsk, Ukraine and was forced to flee with Mark to Canada in 2021. Danyil played for the Calgary Royals U18 AAA in the AEHL two seasons ago and last season spent time with the Calgary Royals U18 AA Team in the HCAA. Danyil is a 6-foot, 2-inch 180-pound power-hitting, shooting machine and 2-way forward. Last season, Denysenko had 27 goals and 19 assists thru 24 games played and tallied 62 PIM’s. Danyil is also currently playing for the Ukrainian U18 National Hockey Team at the U18 World Juniors.
